Our Discount & Dog-Loving Team
We couldn’t have a company name like ‘DiscountPuppy’ and not allow our employees to bring their dogs into the office! While there is the occasional dispute over a toy or accident when a meeting runs long (sorry Nibblet!), overall having the fur-children around benefits everyone – including deal seekers like you!
It’s scientifically proven that rubbing a dog’s belly instantly lifts mood by at least 20% (based on very scientific studies performed by myself), and happier employees do better work. That means that they are finding you bigger, better, and more discounts for all your favourite shops!
A Short Company History
There isn’t a whole lot to tell yet as we’re still a new website! But we can tell you how it started: our two co-founders were trying to book a holiday on TUI and could not find a working discount code anywhere. They found plenty of websites claiming to have promo codes, but they were all rubbish!
So they started to look into how you go about creating a voucher code website: how do you build it, how do you partner with shops and merchants, how do you get discount codes that work?!?!
A few partner shops and website pages later things were going pretty well, so the team has expanded and we are getting set up with new merchants as fast as we can! If you don’t yet see your favourite shop on the website never fear, we’ll have them soon!
How to Find The Best Deals
You want your £s to stretch as far as possible, here is how to do it:
- Always check the terms and conditions of any offers, sometimes there are limitations on when you can redeem an offer or what types of products it can be applied to.
- If there are a few discount codes listed on the page that you think might work, try all of them to see which one provides the biggest savings. Sometimes it’s surprising! Depending on what you are purchasing free shipping could be a better deal then getting 15% off.
- Shop during season sales such as Boxing Day or bank holidays to find the lowest prices!
How to Redeem Promotional Codes
We have two types of offers on our website: voucher codes that are entered during the checkout process and link-activated offers that are applied automatically simply by clicking on our button. You can tell which is which because promo codes will have a button that says ‘Get Code’, and the link-activated offers will have a button that says ‘Get Deal’. All you have to do is click on the button to reveal & copy your discount code, or activate the offer on the merchant’s website. If it’s a voucher code you will have one more step: pasting the code into the appropriate field on the checkout form. That’s it!
Can’t find where you are supposed to enter the discount code? No worries, it’s not always obvious. We include a short & easy to follow guide on where the promo code field for each merchant on the page that lists all of their offers.
